This is where Jason Lohmeier (@jlohmeier) has filled my void. An Art Educator by training, Jason has taken more recently to not just talking about art, but using his brush stroke to paint experiences that honor the western way of life.
A knack for high contrast brushstrokes, Jason brings a raw energy to soldiers, settlers, cowboys, ranchers, miners, lawmen, gamblers, mountain men, vaquero’s, warriors, and flowing landscapes that span from Montana to Old Mexico.
Each piece feels like a captured moment, where the story goes well beyond the image. His artwork celebrates all things western and speaks to those who know the lifestyle inside and out.
