PBR Global Cup
The Professional Bull Riders hosted their battle of nations event, the Global Cup this past weekend at AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event teamed up riders by country, forming 6 teams, representing the nations that host PBR events.
The competition was fierce between the 5 riders who wore the colors of United States Eagles, United States Wolves (Native American team), Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Brazil. USA team member Daylon Swearingen posted a top score of 90.5 to help team USA in their performance, and team Mexico played an underdog game and Alvaro Alvarez Aguilar posted score of 89.25 points to help his team get third place.
This year's champion, the USA Eages, was awarded the opportunity to put American dirt in the trophy, where it will stay until next year's competition.
