Who wouldn’t go weak in the knees for a tall handsome cowboy who can serenade a girl? Well...Last winter, Bull Rider Colten Jesse (@coltenjesse) had his superb 2020 PBR (@pbr) season end on a lull after suffering a muscle tear that required off-season surgery.
Not one to dwell, Jesse chose to put his rehab to good use, picking up his guitar and putting his heartfelt original lyrics on full display via social media. Much to his surprise, his recordings took off and he quickly built an entirely new set of fans. I highly suggest checking out Firewater.
However, Jesse’s bull riding career is far from over, as he plans to rekindle his success pre-injury and be back riding bulls in front of the PBR faithful in July - no doubt, with a guitar in tow this go around.
Until then, we will all stay tuned to his growing Spotify playlist. I have a feeling the best is yet to come.
