Most colognes are easy to describe. They smell like leather, tobacco, vanilla, wood, or whiskey. Yellowstone Ride is harder to explain.

To me, it smells like a cold rain on a warm summer day. The kind where the air pressure changes and everything slows down for a moment.

It's not overpowering, but it's not subtle either. It's just right. Present without demanding attention.

There's a beautiful melancholy to it that not many fragrances have. It reminds you of everything you've fought through and everything you've lived through. The good memories and the bad ones all seem to surface at once.

It feels like hugging someone before they leave. Not because you're afraid, but because you know moments don't last forever.

The scent feels like you didn't want to get up and shave, but you did. You didn't want to go to work, but you did. You said you'd have one drink and finished the bottle. You said you'd only smoke one cigarette but had two. Then you got dressed, stepped out into the rain, and kept moving forward anyway.

It smells safe and familiar. Comforting, but a little sorrowful at the same time.

Not happy.

Not sad.

Just human.

For me, Yellowstone Ride doesn't smell like a cologne. It smells like memories.
