Christmas on the Square is now streaming on Netflix! Why should you care you ask? Because no one brings more spirit than the original Boss Lady, Dolly Parton, especially during Christmas.
Even at 74, the performer extraordinaire isn’t slowing down, as she sings, acts and co-writes the music in this Christmas tale that is inspired by the classic story of A Christmas Carol. And if that wasn’t enough, Dolly decided to go one further this week and also release a musical special on CBS, entitled a “Holly Dolly Christmas" where she performs her newest holiday album.
Whatever program you tune into this season, you will be treated to an entertaining journey into family, love and acceptance - undoubtedly the true essences of Christmas.
When asked why all the enthusiasm for creating content this holiday, Dolly explained that after the year we’ve had, we all need some joy and a lot more of it!
And to top it all off, Dolly took her generosity one step further, donating $1 million dollars to support Covid-19 vaccine research. Just when we thought we couldn’t love Dolly any more, she goes and proves us wrong.
